Microsoft empowers people of action to do more. By moving beyond email, Outlook is a tool that allows users to rule their world. Microsoft asked Hum to conceptualize and design a brand book that would reposition Outlook, bring this ethos to life, and provide guidelines for internal team members.
Hum worked closely with key members of the Outlook team to craft brand narratives, then translated them into expressive and engaging visuals. Our concept brought Outlook to life from the application’s point of view, using a sense of history, scale, and humor. Above all, Hum presented Outlook as the original command center, enabling users to master their lives and bring order to the chaos. Hum’s work for Outlook has proven integral to internal brand building, and has become a cornerstone of creative collaborations across multiple partnership channels.
