South Lake Union Block Party may just be our favorite fête of the summer. Two years after we first branded the annual event, Vulcan invited Hum to reimagine the aesthetic once again for 2017.
Drawing inspiration from the spirit of SLUBP, Hum developed a high-energy visual confetti system representing art, food, culture, and community offerings. A poster, tote bag, and T-shirt build upon this celebratory aesthetic, which was extended across event signage and collateral.
The 2017 event played host to 7,500 guests and raised $2,500 for Mary’s Place, and a blast was had by all who attended.
