Skanska is a leading global construction and development company with a visionary team in Seattle. 2+U, Skanska’s new downtown-Seattle commercial development, prioritizes thoughtful design, high-tech amenities, and community building. Skanska engaged Hum to develop a 2+U brand that is easy for senior staff and brokers to pitch: refined and immediately informative, all while engaging young professionals.

Arriving at Seattle’s waterfront, the website follows an ideal day for 2+U tenants. Inspired copy and lifestyle imagery appeals to young professionals eager for a connection to all that downtown has to offer, while concise supporting information quickly transmits critical building amenities to decision makers.

A successful brand launch has generated preliminary interest in 2+U, including articles in regional business and development journals, and design recognition on siteinspire.com. Hum continues to partner with Skanska on the project, developing marketing materials and interior graphics for 2+U’s holographic leasing center—the first in the world to use HoloLens technology.

We worked with Bianco Artists, Kyle Johnson, Jacob Rosen, and Michelle Andrews to create a suite of photography and video assets that could embody and showcase the culture, taste, and energy of future tenants.

Hum collaborated with Rachel’s Ginger Beer to develop two custom flavors for 2+U, who is proud to partner with local companies with shared passion for big ideas.
