Volume Two
M. Ward and Zooey Deschanel's band, She & Him, released this follow up to "Volume One" in March of 2010. Artwork for "Volume Two" was to continue visual "book" themes established by its predecessor, and reflect the bittersweet vintage feeling of the music. Both the LP and CD feature continuous illustrations which connect the front cover to the back. The CD includes a library pocket which holds liner notes, while the record sleeve is a nod to vintage sleeves from the 50s and 60s. The band logo and album imagery was extended to a website, show posters, and t-shirts.
