From Style Me Pretty: "As a musician, Nick travels often. When we were dating, he used to call me “his anchor” and it became a secret symbol of love between us. He would sweetly draw anchors on letters home, and I wore anchor pendants as jewelry. When it came time to start planning our wedding, we’d been living across the country for a couple of years, just dying to get back to Seattle. Luckily (or perhaps by Nick’s mastermind) our move back home and our wedding happened within months of each other. We felt like we’d been away at sea, and that we were finally able to drop anchor in Seattle, get married, and start our life together.
