Hum Creative specializes in brand identity, packaging, web, and book design for clients both large and small. Hum itself is a very small, but not for long! We’re looking for a designer who is interested in growing with us.

Hum Creative is hiring a designer to:
• conceptualize and execute branding, web, and packaging projects
• assist with design extension and maintenance of ongoing design projects
• conceptualize and implement in-house marketing including studio branding, products, website, and social networking
• suggest and participate in collaborative, non-client work

Designer will work in-studio on a part-to-full time basis, with the goal of expanding to a full time, permanent position as the studio grows.
Compensation and responsibility determined by experience.

Requirements:
• BA in Graphic Design
• 2-4 years graphic design experience
• Strong typography skills
• Ability to work both independently and closely with an art director
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent client relations. aka: Friendly & Patient

Even Better:
• MFA in Design
• Ability and interest in occasional copywriting
• Graphic style that is clean, yet warm and playful
• An interest in systems which require clear hierarchy + narrative
• Web design experience

Design position at Hum Creative

Hum Creative is a very small (but growing!) graphic design studio in Seattle, specializing in brand identity, packaging, web & book design. Recent clients have included: HelloGiggles, The Chalkboard, She & Him / Merge Records, and Mindy Kaling. Many of our clients are creative studios themselves, such as Pamela Littky, Tiffany Colors, Lunchpail Pictures, and Brookleyn photography.

Hum Creative is hiring a designer to assist with long term projects, as well as work with closely with an art director on branding + web projects from concept to completion. Ideally, designer will work in-studio on a part-to-full-time basis, with the goal of expanding to a full time, permanent position as the studio grows.

The ideal candidate has at least 2-3 years of studio design experience, strong typography skills, an interest in copywriting, a style that is clean, yet warm + playful, and a very strong work ethic. Web design experience and an understanding of basic programming principles are a plus, but actual programming skills are not a required.
